Born in Hokkaido and raised in Kyoto. After studying spatial design, he embarked on the path of craftsmanship. While pursuing functional beauty, he was shocked to discover everything he could pursue in the form of plants. He left craftsmanship for a time and worked in tea farms, botanical gardens, flower wholesale, and running his own plant shop. From around 2019 to the present, he has focused on the "form that plants have become" - the "form of plants" - that is necessary for plants to survive, and creates interior objects that bring this to light.
