A large pitcher made at the Mexican glass workshop Feders between the 1960s and 1980s.
The technique of blowing glass into metal with holes is commonly known as prison glass or cage glass, and is also known for the fact that Faders' glass works were used in the New York restaurant "La Fonda del Sol" designed jointly by Alexander Girard and Charles Ray Eames. They are no longer made and are an item with many collectors overseas.
This is a rare size among Faders Workshop's works, and the combination of the texture of the iron and the amber colored glass is outstanding.
Its size also makes it a striking piece of interior decor.
The handiwork of the craftsmen of the time is clearly evident, and air bubbles and variations in thickness are also part of its charm.
It is recommended as an interior decoration such as a vase for branches or as an object.
Size: Φ154 W620 (excluding handle)
