This is an old teacup made at Tsubakigama in Yunotsu, Shimane Prefecture.
This teacup has a smart impression with the camellia crest, a typical design of Tsubakigama, applied to it with a straight upward shape. This is a representative pottery manufacturer in Shimane Prefecture that has been continued for generations by the first generation, "Arao Tsunezo", who was a disciple of Kawai Kanjiro and built a kiln in Yunotsu.
