Wrestling doll

"Itakazuchi" is an old local toy from Hinagu, Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture.
It is said to have been modeled after Shimagasaki Utaro, a famous sumo wrestler from Higo Province during the Tenpo era, and is made from paulownia wood. Its surreal cuteness will make you chuckle and laugh. If you insert a stick into the hole in the center of the wrestler's grip and rotate it back and forth, it will move as if the wrestlers are pushing each other in a sumo match.
When you want to display it, you can use the hole to thread a string through it or hang it on a wall with a pin, so it can be easily used as an object to decorate your room.
Adding this to your room's interior will give it a nice, relaxed atmosphere.
