An old Spanish drinking jar called a botijo.
Botejos were made mainly in Spain as water coolers in the days before refrigerators. They were originally unglazed and unglazed, and were born from the idea that water would be cooled by the heat of vaporization that would occur as the water gradually seeped out and evaporated.
Since ancient times, people have created things in their daily lives that fit the local and historical environment, and these botijos are one of the things that convey human activities to the present day.
The patterns created using slipware techniques and adorable shapes are also attractive.
