These rare iron-framed glass pieces were made by the Mexican glass studio Feders from the 1960s to the 1980s. They are also known as prison glass or cage glass and are popular among collectors overseas.
As the iron ages, the vivid blue of the blown glass stands out even more, creating a contrast that draws you in. You can really feel the handiwork of the artisans at the time, and the air bubbles and uneven thickness are also part of the charm of this piece.
It is recommended not only as a mug but also as an interior decoration such as a flower vase or object.
