This chair mat is hand woven using a technique called knotting weaving.
This is a collaborative work in which knotting artist Miharu Ueda has woven each piece individually using original designs from MISENOMA Design, and its appeal lies in the atmosphere not found in ordinary knotting.
In this work, I am challenging myself to express letters using knotting weaving. The knotting weaving is flexible and has a dynamic surface, which gives the letters a charming appearance similar to handwritten letters. The subject of the letters I chose is the memorable line from the movie "The Truman Show".

"In case we can't meet again..." is a lovely greeting that the main character, Truman, says every day to the people he meets.
This product is available in two colors, the blue one inspired by the last scene of the movie. The two colors are made of similar blue threads, making it easy to match with a variety of chairs.

*When washing, use a neutral detergent, press wash in lukewarm water, then spin dry. Also, when drying, turn it inside out and lay it flat to dry.
It takes a long time to dry so we recommend washing it in the summer.
